Gary brings to Pacwel 28 years’ experience in packaging and design of packaging handling systems plus 10 years’ general management of engineering companies involved in automotive, food & beverage, oil & gas and chemical treatment markets.
His broad all round experience complements the specific skills and experience of the other team members in Pacwel.
Bob has over 35 years experience in retail, logistics, travel, marketing, telecommunications and the health care industry.
His current directorships include the Dacland Property Group and the Melbourne Rebels Super 15 Franchise.
Bob’s previous roles included Chairmanship of Harris Scarfe (Australia) Pty Ltd, Just Jeans Group, Optus Communications, The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal, Colorado Group Ltd, The PAS Group and The Fred Hollows Foundation, as well as non-executive Directorships of Angus & Coote and the Australian Rugby Union.
Prior to his role as Managing Director of Mayne Nickless, Bob spent 13 years with Coles Myer holding various positions such as Managing Director Discount Stores Group, Managing Director K-Mart, Director Strategy for Coles Myer and Managing Director of Grace Bros, which roles were preceded by 15 years with Unilever in Australia, the U.S. and the U.K.
Mr. Allen is a US-based CPA and has directed global financial, technical and governance areas in firms around the world. His 40 years of business and consulting experience provides him with a very strong capability in management, crossing multiple cultures and legal environments.
He has been a senior executive at BearingPoint Inc. and was chairman of a not-for-profit consulting firm following his Corporate retirement in 2009 until 2014.
Since 2015, he has served as a Board member of Pacwel US, Inc. and continues to independently consult with US based firms.
His education includes a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance.
Bruce has over 35 years’ experience with leading Packaging Manufacturers within Australia and overseas.
Bruce brings to Pacwel a wealth of packaging knowledge and project management experience in senior Technical, Operational and Sales support roles.
Bruce has extensive commercial, legal, public company director and company secretarial experience relating primarily to ASX listed companies and their subsidiaries in Australia and internationally.
Following 16 years’ broad senior management experience with Newcrest Mining Limited, a major Australian based international gold mining company, the past 20 years have been spent providing Commercial Consultancy, Director and Company Secretarial services to Australian and off-shore clients relating to the minerals and energy industries in Australia, Jamaica, the U.S., Indonesia and Central Asia, as well as to innovative technology developed within Australia.
VP Design & Engineering
Paul has been involved in the material handling industry for over 30 years and most recently as a project manager in the pharmaceutical industry. He brings turnkey system design and engineering experience to the Company and has been instrumental in the development of the APACS palletiser to its current fully automated version.
Installation & Maintenance Engineer Australasia
Brett is a Mechanical engineer with extensive experience in on-site factory production equipment installation and maintenance.
His roles have taken him from gas plants in remote parts of Australia to medical laboratories. Brett has a broad based skill range in electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical and these skills embrace the automated packing equipment manufactured by Pacwel.
Brett’s prime role in Pacwel is assembly of new machinery but he also supports the Installation team globally.
Installation & Maintenance Engineer USA
Stuart has over 25 years’ experience in the blow molding & packaging industry.
His work has taken him to more than 40 countries on 5 continents allowing him to gain a wealth of experience, which he has brought to PACWEL.
He has an in depth knowledge of machine installation & commissioning along with machine design & innovation.
Stuart prides himself on relationship building & is committed to customer service.
Rodney is a professional advisor with extensive experience in operational excellence and people management in the financial services sector and operation & risk management field, with extensive cross-border experience in Asia and the U.S.
His previous role, before joining the Dumfries Group as Managing Director, was Director of Compliance & Risk Management, Asia Pacific for BearingPoint Inc.
Rodney’s expertise lies in all areas of operations management, strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance and business and finance process improvement, as well as systems implementation and project management.
